On Tuesday, 8 suicide bombers blew themselves up at a military checkpoint in Gubio, Bornu State. In a statement made in Abuja, Sani Usman, the Army spokesman disclosed that the incident occurred at military checkpoint at Gubio in Gubio Local Government Area. According to Usman, the suicide bombers arrived in a Bedford pick-up vehicle prepared with suicide vests and IED (Improvised Explosive Devices).
